Rebooted and got the error message from the original post. I opened Office and everything seemed to be working perfectly. I have tried repairing the Office installation which come back saying repair successful. Office Setup. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xf. I clicked ok and it proceeded to install Office Completed and worked without any problems at all.

Except upon reboot I got the same "Office install problem Error: Sorry, we couldn't install office. We ran into a problem " but everything still seemed to work. Sorry for the long winded reply but I thought I would share as much info as I could to help resolve the issue. I have also tried the Online Repair, which also gives these messages. I had the same issue with the HUP install and was able to get office to install by downloading the full version ISO package.

Hi Linda, To address this concern, we suggest that you rename Microsoft Help Folder since that you've tried to run the Fix It to remove traces of Office. In reply to Jomel Ber's post on October 4, I am sorry this is still not working. Is there a way to go back to Office 7? This is serious for me as I cannot work. More help is greatly appreciated. Side note: I went back a couple days for a roll back.
